 | UWC Vietnam is a group of volunteers in charge of promoting UWC in Vietnam, including the selection of UWC scholarships. Since its inception in 2002, UWC Vietnam has sent close to 50 students from 20 cities and provinces to 10 UWCs in Canada, Costa Rica, Hong Kong (China), India, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Singapore, the United Kingdom and the United States of America. | | The United World Colleges scholarships are for 11th graders to gain an International Baccalaureate degree and the unique experience at one of the United World Colleges. Scholarships include tuition, room and board for two years of study at the school. Air tickets, pocket money, medical insurance and other costs are not normally included. Relevant United World Colleges and UWC Vietnam may consider paying for some of these expenses in special cases when selected students have difficulties matching the costs. Partial scholarships and placement without funding may also be provided, depending on each in-take.
